This morning my wife gave birth to our second son.  He was not due until May, so was only 18 weeks along.  We are now in the process of planning his funeral. Need to take a few days off from the blog.

Today I received the 1,000th comment on the blog. As a note of thanks I offered the person who made the 1,000th comment their choice of free shirt from the store.

February 8, 1942 – December 11, 2012 I for one will miss his amazing shooting ability. Condolences to his family.

Ammoland put up a list of the most popular firearm-related sites thanks to Quantcast’s monthly report for November. Not exactly sure where I fit in when limiting the list to just firearm-related sites, but The Weapon Blog is the 420,383rd most popular US-based site on the internet.
