Proposed Assault Weapon Ban Of 2018
I can’t believe that this was written in the heat of the moment. This has probably been sitting on a shelf, waiting for the right time to propose it. They are going after everything — down to specifics on model numbers of weapons banned and exempted by the ban.
time to circle the wagons
It looks like they are wanting to cause civil unrest with those who are normally law abiding citizens. It is a sad day when politicians are agitating in such a manner as to incite civil disobedience. I believe the Bible teaches we are to obey the government. At the same time, those in the government leadership should follow their oath to defend the constitution which includes the second amendment. Maybe these liberals want civil war to break out so they can institute marshal law and then confiscate all firearms. This is not to say that I am advocating armed resistance (see Romans 13). I am afraid it may occur if confiscation of firearms begins.
