Glock 43 Accessories

To many, the Glock 43 is the best handgun in America. The G43 is Glocks’s new single stack 9mm pistol and was the most desired and anticipated release in Glock’s history. The G43 is the answer to many people’s everyday concealed carry needs.

The fact that it is ultra-concealable, accurate and fantastic for all shooters regardless of hand size is astonishing. The grip has a built in beaver tail design which allows the shooter to obtain a high and tight grip. The aggressive texture of the grip lets the shooter further easily operate the pistol. Engineered to the same standards as other Glocks, the G43 can withstand the same torture. For a carry gun, the G43 has a standard magazine capacity of 6 bullets. We are going to touch on 4 accessories that you can get for your Glock 43.

A Holster

Holsters are the number one accessories you need when you first purchase your handgun, if you plan on carrying it. You need to be able to carry the gun around without it being noticeable and without it falling out of position. There are many types of glock 43 holsters, such as: ankle holsters, IWB holsters (inside waistband), OWB holsters (outside waistband), fanny pack holsters, shoulder holsters, and others. You can research online to figure out what kind of holster you would prefer and how you would like to carry your handgun. Make sure you practice using the holster contactly before taking it out daily so you get used to the draw and re-holstering movements. You want to make sure that you understand how the holster works and how it holds your gun against your body. Once you have figured out how to use your holster properly, you will be good enough to if you need to!

Night Sights

Night sights are a good upgrade if there isn’t much light. However, they also appear brighter and I get them standard on all my handguns. The standard sights are plastic and use a “dot in box” visual reference. Unfortunately, this set-up does not work well for many people, which is why I recommend upgrading to night sights. Fortunately, there are many outstanding different options available in the market when you’re looking to upgrade the sight on your glock 43. Most upgraded sights fit firmly and securely around the firearm’s existing trigger guard with no gunsmithing needed.

Extended Magazine or an extra magazine

If you know you’re going to be shooting a lot in a day, I would suggest purchasing a magazine extension or purchasing an extra magazine altogether! They come in handy when you know you will be shooting a lot throughout the day and getting some practice in. If you don’t plan on shooting a lot I would say this isn’t a necessary purchase but a mag extension is always a great idea to have. Plus, you can carry it on you so if the time comes and you need it, you’ll be thankful you had it.

Upgraded Grips

Talon grips, if you are not familiar with them, are an affordable, easy to put on grip tape that is customized for your pistol. You can get them in a sandpaper (like skateboard tape) or in a rubber grip tape. I personally go with the rubber because the sandpaper seems to bug me while I am carrying concealed. If you are not wearing an undergarment it can rub you the wrong way, literally. Having these grips is a great accessory and you will regret not buying them. They help you hold the gun steadily and makes the gun easier to grip.

These are the top 4 accessories we recommend for your Glock 43. A holster is almost a necessity if you plan on concealed carrying, as well as upgraded grips. An extra mag is nice to have – especially at the range. Having night sights is just one more thing that makes your G43 a great all around concealed carry, especially if you need it at night.
