I was glad to read that they handled it correctly, mostly. No one needs to freak out. They don’t need to call in SWAT. Just say, “Hey, it’s cool you have a gun but you can’t go past this point with it. How would you like to proceed?”

  1. no harm no foul…check the weapon and place it in a box and store it with the luggage to be reclaimed after de-boarding….
