Illinois CHL Reciprocity

Illinois joins the other 49 states that offer concealed handgun licenses. But, it seems that Illinois has chosen to follow the California model of reciprocity. Meaning that there is no reciprocity. In order to carry a concealed handgun in Illinois you must hold an Illinois license.

    what a joke. good thing that people who travel to Illinois, are never harmed by Illinois residents. so no need for us who are used to protecting ourselves in other states don’t need to do so in Chicago.

    maybe the new gov will get ill.on the right track on the reciprocity issue with other states.
