Take Your Daughter to the Range
I was so honored when I was asked to be a guest poster on this amazing blog. I thought long and hard about what I would write about. I knew that it had to be something close to my heart. What is closer than girls and guns?
This year, something amazing is set to happen. The very first “Take Your Daughter to the Range†Day. On June 9, 2012, ranges everywhere will open their doors to find fathers and their daughters lining up to shoot together. There is even a Facebook page dedicated to this day. Not expecting the speed of the growth and support of what is hoped to be an annual event, the folks behind this event appear to be giddily overwhelmed and working diligently to keep up.
At my house, time spent at the range is family time. My children, husband, and I have so much fun at the range. It is a time for learning and for some healthy competition. I especially enjoy time spent teaching my daughter.
Kaci is just your normal, every day, Texas girl. Wife, mother, daughter and friend. She loves her friends and family. She believes that Jesus Christ is the Lord and Savior and the only way to eternal life. She also believes in her 2nd Amendment right to bear arms.
