A little bit about the LSCDL:
The Lone Star Citizens Defense League was inspired by the Arizona Citizens Defense League. The AZCDL is responsible for the great advances in Arizona gun rights.
The Citizens Defense League supports pro-rights bills and work to stop anti-gun bills.
The belief that honest people should not be regulated and treated as criminals is what drives this organization. The good people of Texas deserve better laws that work for the citizen, not the criminals.
We want harsh punishment for those who commit crimes and better rights for those who don’t.
The LSCDL will be working at Legislature to promote a better Texas.
No man or woman should need permission or the state’s consent if they choose to arm themselves.
Texas Legislature has faild us. The LSCDL is the tool we need to work together and fight for our right to bare and keep arms!
Article 1 section 23 of the Texas Constitution:
SEC. 23. Every citizen shall have the right to keep and bear arms in the lawful defense of himself or the State; but the Legislature shall have power by law to regulate the wearing of arms with a view to prevent crime.
As we all know, guns and the wearing of arms prevent crime! The laws we are burdened with as honest citizens do not prevent crime, but only create easy targets for criminals.
It’s up to you my fellow Texans, let’s make it work.
The LSCDL is looking for people all over the state to provide community outreach, as the strength of the organization will be dependent on the number of members. If you can help out in any way, the LSCDL would love your support.
