With the cost of ammunition skyrocketing in 2009 and the availability plummeting, online purchases of ammunition have gone up — even if it means you have to factor in the shipping costs. Wholesale Hunter is also offering some Federal XM193 (5.56mm) that doesn’t show up in its own search engine. The price is a great $7.97 for 20 rounds, but once you factor in shipping, it bumps the price up to around $10 a round, which is about what I can get similar ammunition locally.
