Stoeger Cougar

A good friend decided to pay me back for all the computer work I’d done for him free of charge over the years. What better way than with a new gun?

Decided on the Stoeger Cougar 8040F. If you’ve seen Beretta’s new PX4 Storm line of pistols and are thinking that the Cougar looks familiar, you’re right. Beretta opened up a subsidiary company (Stoeger) and moved all their 9mm and 40S&W Cougar equipment to Turkey because operating costs are cheaper in Turkey than they are in Italy.  Prices on the Stoeger line are about half of what the old Beretta line sold for.  The Cougar is an all metal gun — the Beretta PX4 Storm line is the new iteration of the Cougar line, and replaces the metal for polymer.
